Talking to Him (Jesus/HolySpirit) and...my mouth is dry from talking so much not to mention the exhaustion
He senses this and tells me to be still and listen
I'm listening and I feel this overwhelming peace sweep through my chest, thoughts and my whole intimate being
Rather than spend tonight alone, crying doubting, hurting
I'm honoured to speak to the One whose Love is beyond measure
Whose Mercy is empowering
Whose grace is like a charging ocean wave
I know you have a million and one reasons not to
You're highly educated, smart, witty
Financially stable, healthy, fun-loving
Charismatic, Happy
Or perhaps you lack stability, emotional satisfaction
Joy, Peace, Purpose, Serenity, Contentment
Of the opinion that the human lifespan is nothing but meaningless
Of the opinion that we are all ordinary
Your opinions aren't far off
We are ordinary but He makes us extraordinary
We'd be meaningless but He gave us meaning through His death
He shed precious blood, passion filled tears, heart wrenching groans and whimpers
Wouldn't you love to feel peace ...or even encounter it in its truest/ purest form
Undiluted Love (it's so concentrated, you'll need a strong pallet to swallow it)
nothing compares to it
I bet you feel like you've got your life all figured out
No room for Improvement
But ......
you spend many nights tirelessly roaming through endless thoughts and pursuits
you cry at times with no particular explanation
you feel alone in the midst of the crowd
Yet......
He provides the answers to questions that our heavy hearts ask in the dark of the night
Try Jesus
You have nothing to lose
Everything to gain
