Meet the Creator
As you may have already guessed, yes, another Meet the Creator blog post. I plan to write a section on "Meet the Creator" once a month as I feel like He is constantly reintroducing Himself to me, there are so many aspects of Him and one can never know Him enough. With that being said lets dive right in !
Take a moment to imagine this; The story in Exodus 14
Water wildly spread as far as your eyes can reach. There's roughly a thin line where the sky meets the waters far in the distance. Foaming white waves line up on the surface of the waters. The sky coloured a pale blue, with clouds so fluffy and white beautifully spread across it. The sun shining so bright as it glistens over the surface of the water. Its so warm, you can almost taste the salty humid air.
Then Suddenly without warning, out pours groaning and crying from the once satisfied, rejoicing people of Israel. Noise that the Egyptians were approaching soon fills your ears. How will God deliver His people now ?. You've spoken too soon because at His command the staff of Moses is raised the laws of nature are instantly defeated.
Defeated by Him, The Creator, The Commander and Chief of all things in heaven and on the earth. A strong wind powers its way from the east and drove right through the waters. It almost seems like the earth has stood still as these changes occur. Every molecule of water at His doing, rising and gathering in perfect order and in such a synchronized fashion, to create 2 walls. Your attention is drawn to a clear and dry path where the water once filled so immensely just moments ago. He had made a way where there had been no way. Clearly it was no magic, no trick or lie. The Creator Himself had yet again done a miraculous thing. He turned our mourning into dancing and our sorrow into joy, in only a matter of time.
He parted the red sea and caused the Israelites to pass through as he made the waters to stand as a heap (Psalm 78:24).
He clave the rocks in the wilderness and gave them drink as out of the great depths (sea/ocean)
He brought streams out of the rock and caused the waters to run down like rivers
He rained down manna from above to feed the Israelites.
At His presence the see fled and was driven back,
Mountains skipped like rams and the hills like lambs.
With Him there are no limits and no boundaries.
The God who succeeds where man fails.
The Victorious One in battle.
The Way maker and The light to our path
The Olodumare (The Almighty)
The Oba t’o f’oro da ile aye (He that created all things by His spoken word)
The Atorise (God who can turn a bad situation into good)
The Oba alade Alafia (Prince of peace)
The Oba t’oni k’owa, t’owa, (The Commander)
Meet the One, meet the Creator.
Thank you for reading !

“When you discuss the credibility of the Bible, you have to be careful not to try to explain something that is presented in the Bible as a miracle. A miracle is, by definition, something that you cannot explain naturally. Many times, however, the Bible presents an event as a natural act of God. The parting of the Red Sea is one such event” (Clayton, 1992).
